Awesome video on making a bodice

I found this video on you-tube(don't remember how I came upon it),  But its really good.  I have a few books on teaching how to make your own patterns, but I know that some people need to see what they need to do.  In these video's she shows you what to do.

My serger is HERE

Well my serger arrived a few days ago.. I managed to thread it (with the help of the video and book)  It really was not that hard.  I plan on retreading it every time I need to change thread.  I want to be able to thread it without having to watch the video or use the manual.  I bought this serger from allbrands.com. The service was great and really fast.  I ordered the machine on March 18th and received it on March 21st.  This was with the free ground shipping.  It came with lots of accessories also. If they have the machine that I want to buy I will definitely be buying it form them. I haven't been able to (play) with it completely but I did manage to serge part of a dress I am making Miss A.  It is AWESOME!!!  I can not wait till all my clothes have that finished look. 

Next I would like to get a new machine.  Not sure which one yet but I have lots of time to look(shop) around.  I plan on testing lots of different machines at local dealers around me. 

Curling Iron refashion.

The Beauty Department has a great tutorial on turning your old curling iron into a curling wand.  This is great.  I have been looking into buying one of these, but I already own 3 curling irons.  I will be DIYing my curling irons into curling wands.
